CART LONG-RANGE PLAN

On October 25, the City of Norman presented in a public meeting its proposal for significant expansion of public transit for the City of Norman and its residents. This plan was developed over several months by the Council Transportation Subcommittee in conjunction with Cleveland Area Rapid Transit (CART) staff.

The CART Long-Range Plan is a three-phase plan that will greatly enhance the CART system by offering substantially more service area, late-night transit operating hours, Sunday service and efficient route frequency.
